Sustainable waste management in Novi Marof and LjubešćicaContract reference number: KK.06.3.1.07.0014reduce | reuse | RecycleThe project will educate and inform 15,104 residents in 4,559 households on Sustainable Waste Management.
The area includes two local self-government units in Varaždin County: Novi Marof Town and Ljubešćica Municipality.The aim of the project is to inform 100% of the inhabitants of the City of Novi Marof and Ljubešćica Municipality about the methods of waste management which lead to a reduction in the amount of waste landfilled into landfills through 5 mandatory and 8 recommended educational and information activities.
Along with the informative activities the project includes activities of promotion and visibility and project management.
The knowledge acquired will be used by citizens to change their everyday habits and to adopt the importance of responsible waste management in the sense of sustainable development of their local environment.The project was co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.The content of mobile applications is the sole responsibility of the City of New Marof.www.odvajamo.eu
